:::Teams:::

                    Ministry teams are a vital part of any youth ministry. Regardless of how large or small a group is, without a doubt, there are ministry teams involved with church services. From the group that does skits, to the young people who help with praise and worship, there are ministry opportunities available.

Here is a brief overview of our areas of ministry. Please keep in mind that every youth group will be different, and what works for our young people may not work for yours. In the following chapters you will see how we build these teams, when they rehearse, when they have auditions, what their schedules are like and when they meet.  Below are the Units that we break them down into, each Unit Director must be knowledgeable concerning his/her unit.

Music/Multi-Media Unit

BAND:
The purpose of the Youth Band is to help lead the young people into the highest level of praise and the most intimate of worship.

CHOIR:
The Choir is designed to edify and excite the youth, by ministering upbeat, youth- oriented music while giving those involved an opportunity to truly mature in music.

FRONT LINE SINGERS:
The Front Line Singers are a group of the strongest singers from the youth choir. They provide the lead for the parts of the songs as well as specials and background vocals for choir songs.

AUDIO:
The Audio Team sets up, runs and mixes the sound for all the youth services and events. They also record the sermons on audio tape and CD.  It is imperative that they are in unity with the worship team as well as the speaker.

VIDEO:
The Video Team sets up and runs the video projector during the youth services and events. Video and laptop computer presentations are used to enhance the visual aspects of the services and to display the words to the praise and worship songs as they are being sung.  They also produce and edit their own videos that vary from “Man on the Street” street witnessing videos, to very fun and light comedy videos.

LIGHTS:
The Lighting creates atmosphere by controlling the lighting during all portions of the youth services and events.  This crew enhances each ministry team's time on the platform and controls all special lighting for productions.
